Archie the Guernsey Recycling Goat

Galaxy’s parent company, the Guernsey Recycling Group (GRG) is delighted to announce it purchased Archie at the Autism Guernsey Goat Auction.

Archie was one of 52 goats in the Golden Guernsey Goat Trail. He was painted by artist Ryan Dawes, and sponsored by JG Architecture.

The Goat Auction was held on Thursday 16th September 2021 at St Pierre Park; and raised an incredible £65.703 for Autism Guernsey and the Guernsey Adult Literacy Project (GALP).

Archie the Guernsey Recycling Goat arrived at Galaxy the following day; and was kitted out with PPE ready to start work. He will be popping up around our different recycling sites across Guernsey - including Island Waste Ltd, Mayside Recycling, the Guernsey Recycling Scrap Metal Yard, and of course Galaxy - so keep a look out!
