ELV’s (+/-) and Carbon Offseting

We were recently approached by ESI Monitor, asking us to provide some input into an article about electric vehicles, and electric vehicle batteries.

The article explores the pros, cons and realities of electric vehicles (EV), and EV batteries in a global and local context.

The article is now available on their website.

Galaxy will likely purchase an EV in the next 12 months as part of our action plan to reduce our carbon footprint and achieve net zero emissions. But in the meantime, we have offset our vehicle emissions for the second year running via the ESI Monitor Carbon Offset+ scheme.

The Team are looking forwards to the Sustain-Ability challenge in September, organised by the Clean Earth Trust and Kay Davidson; and will be committing to a variety of ways to reduce our collective environmental impact. Fran has decided to give up her car!
