Project Kick Off

We created a lovely GANTT chart and assigned some action points …

We were visited by our external auditor for a “Support Meeting” in June to discuss the revisions to the 27001 Standard; and then held the Project Kick Off meeting in July.

During the meeting we outlined the work needed to be done before Galaxy’s recertification audit in November.

After some strong coffee we devised a project timeline, created a lovely GANTT chart and assigned some action points.

Step 1: Staff Awareness Training. BIG TICK! We’ve already done that!

We’ve completed online webinars and classroom training sessions which summarised the changes to the standard; and met with the external Auditor (see previous Blog post).

After the Project Kick Off we went for a celebratory breakfast at Rendevous. We highly recommend the Breakfast Club Sandwich (that’s a fried egg, tomatoes, hashbrowns, cheese and bacon in 3 grilled to perfection in 3 slices of bread).
